Think this is a photograph? Well look again! This is the work of Brian Boulton, a Vancouver-based hyper-realistic artist. Brian uses digital photography as a base for all of his drawings. While many contemporary artists generate digital images as a final product, he reverses that process by producing an analog image from the digital file. He prefers this technique in order to retain a "knitted texture" that's usually lost in a photograph. I think he's just really detailed oriented and loves to work with his hands! The world is better with him in it, keep them coming Brian! Can't wait to see what's next! ◀
