MANON LABROSSE

Manon uses the landscape to explore the idea of memory.  Her work is mostly abstract except for a few carefully chosen shapes such as the telephone pole, power line or as per her current work, the log pile.  Having an interest in symbolism, she uses those shapes repetitively throughout a series to create a pattern that can evoke individual connections through the observer's own association to that image.

If you like her work & would love to see more you'll be happy to know that her Vernissage is tomorrow! January 31, at CAO 2 Daly Avenue from 5-8 p.m. and will be up until February 28
