I Love the way Annemarie captures her subjects, you can almost fell their emotion.

To me, Goya is an early example of an artist who tried to portray people with their faults and therefore nibbled on their egos. Externalities are not being shown prettier as they really are. But still, regarding portraying kings and important people, not much has been changed since Goya’s days, we still focus on the ego and status." via
