There are so many things I love about Holger's work! His use of materials, his lines, but my favourite thing is the shadow on the wall. Here's what he had to say about his work.

"This suspended structure is the result of taking shapes from my previous paintings of modernist buildings and creating a 3-d version of them. I was interested in the idea of suspension because the viewer will have to use her/his imagination to allow for the structure to appear as if it is flying. The colour scheme of white, black and red is inspired by Russian constructivist art of the early 20th century. If you look closely there is a little surprise."

Title: Untitled (Modular Sculpture)  Materials: Acrylic, rubber and string, dimensions variable
