Acacia Johnson is an artist and photographer from Alaska who's work is an exploration of the Far North in landscapes of Alaska, Scandinavia, Iceland. Acacia is currently on a Fulbright grant in Canada, where she is pursuing a project about the mythic winter landscape of Baffin Island. This grant is in affiliation with the Ontario College of Art and Design University, where she is an artist-in-residence at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island. She will be living in the community of Arctic Bay this winter, on the north of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic. Can't wait to see what she does next. Prints are available upon request.
